SCP – Containment Breach is a thrilling indie supernatural horror video game that takes place in a dangerous secret facility overrun by paranormal anomalies. Developed by Joonas “Regalis” Rikkonen, this action-packed first-person survival game is based on the popular SCP Foundation website and its lore.

The SCP Foundation is a collaborative-fiction project that documents a fictional secret organization tasked with locating and containing anomalous individuals, entities, locations, objects, and phenomena that defy natural law. These anomalies, known as "SCPs," pose a direct threat to humanity's life and perception of reality if left uncontained. The website is known for its scientific and academic writing style, encompassing various genres such as horror, science fiction, and urban fantasy.

In SCP – Containment Breach, you play as D-9341, a Class-D personnel who is an expendable test subject for SCP research. After a system malfunction during an experiment with SCP-173, a statue that moves and kills people when not stared at, the facility goes into lockdown mode. Your objective is to escape before the hostile SCPs find and kill you. With most of the important personnel evacuated or dead, you must rely on exploration to find documents that provide information on how to handle specific SCPs, as well as keycards and electronic devices to access locked areas and solve puzzles.

The game features a procedurally-generated map for each playthrough, adding to the challenge and uncertainty. The facility is divided into three fixed zones, each containing a unique set of randomly-chosen rooms and hallways. Additionally, you must navigate the facility while avoiding not only the SCPs but also the mobile task force unit "Nine-Tailed Fox," deployed to secure the facility and eliminate any remaining D-Class personnel.
